Ode to a Thrift Store

Life has been crazy, we've been traveling lots, and I have so much to share!

Just got back from a great weekend with amaz friends, and whilst there we found that Indiana is Goodwill Outlet Mecca (insert harmonized singing chorus here)
The outlets have huge bins of 90% crap 10% amaz; you just have to find it.....it's an adult treasure hunt! They sell everything by weight. If it's light it's basically free, and it's never above $5 for an item (besides furniture...which we got a couch for $12.99?! WHAT?!). The best part is they switch ALL of the bins every few hours. So we stand around the abandoned warehouse, in wait of a new hunt. I found so many treasures! I even had to buy a ghetto $5 suit case to bring them home!

I got this great double sided chalk board, it probably cost a solid quarter.

I got this great little clock at an Antique store for $6 and the books at the outlet for about $1 each....LOVE.

More books! I brought that big mother on the bottom home in my carry on...yikes-ie!

The white oval mirror was a goodwill outlet find $4.99! I love it as a tray!

I found this amazing silverware in a grab bag for $5 from an antique store. Some of the smaller ones were the goodwill outlet.

...Man I love me some Indiana....

Some funky colored suitcases I spray painted white. On top, a painting of hands for Father's Day:) Thank you Pintrest for the idea.

The picture below are 2 Amazing old pictures of Verona from an antique store; I found in Italy. I really wanted something fun from Italy but the souvenirs were so expensive and so dang cheese ball. I found these for a couple bucks each and framed them with frames I picked up at a thrift store in town, painted gold, and backed with butcher paper. And I just love them on my new white walls, Cameron surprised me with when I got home from Indy.

While repositioning things around the house I came across this painting I did a couple of years ago. I don't have a spot in the house for it anymore. So if anyone is interested it's $80. It's a one of a kind acrylic on canvas painting.
